O incansável cantor, produtor e multi-instrumentista Fabiano Negri, uma das figuras mais respeitadas do rock nacional, acaba de lançar o videoclipe oficial de “The Goat, The Machine Gun and The Jackal”, quinto single extraído de seu novo álbum The Outlaw’s Journey — um verdadeiro manifesto audiovisual de uma das mais belas vozes do Rock/Metal brasileiro. E, dessa vez, quem assumiu o comando das câmeras foi o próprio público!

Gravado inteiramente pelos celulares da plateia durante o show explosivo de lançamento do disco, no final de junho, o vídeo capta o espírito caótico, energético e eletrizante do momento atual de Fabiano Negri, agora junto à sua banda, O Bebê Diabo. “The Goat, The Machine Gun and The Jackal” é uma faixa que traz em sua temática um mergulho em um cenário pós-apocalíptico que serve de pano de fundo para a crítica social afiada: a exploração da classe trabalhadora, o conformismo forçado e o abismo entre ricos e pobres. “É sobre esse papo de ‘se contente com o que tem e trabalhe até morrer’, enquanto o rico continua ficando mais rico e sugando até a última gota do pobre. Claro, tudo nesse universo distópico do álbum. Porque no mundo real, vivemos em uma sociedade muito mais justa e iluminada (risos)”, ironiza o vocalista.

The tireless singer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Fabiano Negri, one of the most respected figures in Brazilian rock, has just released the official music video for “The Goat, The Machine Gun and The Jackal,” the fifth single from his new album The Outlaw’s Journey — a true audiovisual manifesto from one of the most powerful voices in Brazilian Rock/Metal. And this time, the cameras were in the hands of the audience!

Recorded entirely on fans’ cell phones during the explosive album release show at the end of June, the video captures the chaotic, energetic, and electrifying spirit of Fabiano Negri’s current moment, now alongside his band O Bebê Diabo. It's an authentic portrait of the synergy between band and fans. “I asked everyone to pull out their phones and go wild filming. It was a huge — and fun — mess, we almost tore the place down, but the video turned out amazing. A great memory for us and for everyone who was there having a blast! That’s what rock is: fun, connection, and joy!” says the singer.

“The Goat, The Machine Gun and The Jackal” dives into a post-apocalyptic setting that serves as the backdrop for a sharp social critique: the exploitation of the working class, forced conformity, and the widening gap between the rich and the poor. “It’s about this idea of ‘be content with what you have and work until you die,’ while the rich keep getting richer and sucking every last drop out of the poor. Of course, all within the dystopian universe of the album. Because in the real world, we live in a much fairer and more enlightened society (laughs),” the vocalist says with irony.
