A Loss é a afluência da experiência e singularidade características da cena mineira de rock pesado. Natural da capital BH, a banda é capitaneada por Marcelo Loss (vocal e baixo) que foi fundador do grupo Concreto, com o qual gravou sete álbuns, sendo que o último contou com baterias gravadas por Vinny Appice (Black Sabbath, DIO). Também faz parte do line-up da banda o baterista Teddy Bronsk, que também já passou pelo Concreto e foi o fundador da lendária banda Witchhammer, uma das pioneiras do metal nacional na década de 80, com quem gravou quatro álbuns. Por fim, também é integrante da Loss o guitarrista Adriano Avelar que traz no currículo trabalhos ao lado de importantes nomes da música, desde compositores como Marku Ribas e Klinger, a rappers como Xis, Deleve, Thales Dusares e o ex-Planet Hemp, Speed Freaks.

A bagagem desse trio de músicos da Loss justifica o som vanguardista que eles vêm fazendo desde seus primeiros trabalhos, o EP "Let’s Go" (2020), o álbum “Storm” (2022) e os diversos singles lançados. Mas é em seu segundo e novo álbum de estúdio, “Human Factor”, que o Loss não só dá manutenção a sua vocação para lançar música boa, como prospecta novas possibilidades criativas.

Lançado em agosto do ano passado, “Human Factor” reúne 11 faixas e foi gravado e produzido no Analog Dream Studio em Belo Horizonte/MG porém mixado e masterizado no Sheriff at Antfarm Studio em Ebeltoft, Dinamarca, por ninguém menos que o renomado produtor Tue Madsen, famoso por ter trabalhado com Rob Halford, Meshuggah, Behemoth, Sick Of It All, Vader, etc. “Human Factor” também reserva participações bastante especiais como a do multi-instrumentista Johnny Herno e de Alan Wallace, guitarrista e membro fundador do Eminence.

Como parte da turnê em divulgação a “Human Factor”, o Loss embarca em Outubro para sua segunda turnê europeia.

Agendada e organizada pela produtora Som do Darma, a "The Human Factor - European Tour 2025" vai contar com sete shows em seis países diferentes, inclusive em grandes capitais como Paris, Amsterdam e Londres, onde o grupo se apresenta no Cart and Horses, lendário pub na zona leste de Londres onde o Iron Maiden iniciou sua carreira.

"Essa será nossa segunda passagem pelo velho continente, mas essa tour atual promete ser bem diferente da primeira, de 2022", comenta Marcelo Loss. "Para começar, na anterior a banda tinha pouco mais de dois anos de formação e apenas um EP e um álbum lançados. Os shows aconteceram basicamente na Península Ibérica, em Portugal e Espanha, com datas agendadas pela DyMM Records, nosso selo na Europa. Dessa vez serão mais datas e uma estrutura muito mais profissional. Todo o trabalho de booking está sendo realizado pelo Som do Darma, que tem grande experiência no ramo. A tour também passará por cidades emblemáticas como Paris, Londres, Amsterdã, além de cidades alemãs, belgas e uma data na Irlanda. Outro diferencial é o repertório que iremos apresentar, baseado no novo álbum Human Factor, que mostra uma banda bem mais consistente e madura do que a da tour de 2022. Ou seja, estamos bastante motivados e ansiosos para mostrar para os gringos um pouco do metal que é produzido aqui no Brasil!"

Loss is the confluence of experience and uniqueness that defines the heavy rock scene from Minas Gerais.

Hailing from the capital city of Belo Horizonte, the band is led by Marcelo Loss (vocals and bass), founder of the group Concreto, with whom he recorded seven albums—one of which featured drum recordings by none other than Vinny Appice (Black Sabbath, DIO). Also in the band’s lineup is drummer Teddy Bronsk, another former Concreto member and founder of the legendary band Witchhammer, one of the pioneers of Brazilian metal in the 1980s, with four albums under their belt. Rounding out the trio is guitarist Adriano Avelar, who brings a diverse background that includes collaborations with major names in Brazilian music—from composers like Marku Ribas and Klinger, to rappers such as Xis, Deleve, Thales Dusares, and former Planet Hemp member Speed Freaks.

The rich background of these three musicians is the foundation for the cutting-edge sound that Loss has been crafting since their earliest releases: the Let’s Go EP (2020), the album Storm (2022), and a series of singles. But it's with their second and newest studio album, Human Factor, that Loss not only maintains their reputation for delivering powerful music but also explores new creative possibilities.

Released in August of last year, Human Factor features 11 tracks and was recorded and produced at Analog Dream Studio in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, but mixed and mastered at Sheriff at Antfarm Studio in Ebeltoft, Denmark by none other than renowned producer Tue Madsen—famous for his work with Rob Halford, Meshuggah, Behemoth, Sick Of It All, Vader, and many more. The album also features special guest appearances by multi-instrumentalist Johnny Herno and Alan Wallace, guitarist and founding member of Eminence.

As part of the promotional tour for Human Factor, Loss is heading out in October for their second European tour.

Organized and booked by the production company Som do Darma, the "The Human Factor - European Tour 2025" will include seven shows across six countries, with performances in major cities like Paris, Amsterdam, and London—where the band will play at Cart and Horses, the legendary East London pub where Iron Maiden began their career.

“This will be our second time touring the Old Continent, but this tour promises to be quite different from our first one, back in 2022,” says Marcelo Loss. “Back then, the band was just over two years old and had only released an EP and a debut album. Most of the shows were in the Iberian Peninsula—Portugal and Spain—booked through DyMM Records, our European label. This time, we have more dates and a much more professional structure. The entire booking is being handled by Som do Darma, who have great experience in the field. We’ll also be playing in iconic cities like Paris, London, and Amsterdam, as well as cities in Germany, Belgium, and even a date in Ireland. Another big difference is the setlist—we’ll be performing songs from Human Factor, which reflects a much more mature and solid band than the one from the 2022 tour. So we’re extremely motivated and excited to show international audiences a bit of the metal that’s being made here in Brazil!”
